The Italian Sarcoma Group focuses on advanced and metastatic sarcoma subtypes, with particular attention to solitary fibrous tumour, leiomyosarcoma, mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, and desmoplastic small round cell tumor. Its research activity is centered on difficult-to-treat disease settings in adults and young adults requiring systemic treatment beyond first-line care.
