Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Immunotherapy

Research activity in acute myeloid leukemia centers on relapse prevention, post-remission disease control, and immune-based approaches using dendritic cell vaccination and WT1-targeted therapies. The sponsor also supports work in advanced and refractory solid tumors with similar antigen-directed immunotherapy strategies.

  • Relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia
  • WT1 mRNA-electroporated dendritic cell vaccination
  • Advanced or refractory solid tumors

These studies reflect a strong interest in therapeutic cancer immunology and cell-based treatment concepts in difficult-to-treat malignancies.

Thoracic and Gastrointestinal Oncology

The sponsor funds studies in malignant pleural mesothelioma, colon carcinoma, and selected advanced tumors of the pancreas, esophagus, liver, and ovaries. Research spans immunotherapy combinations, perioperative cancer care, and survival-focused treatment strategies in progressive disease.

  • Malignant pleural mesothelioma
  • Colon carcinoma
  • Advanced gastrointestinal and ovarian tumors

Additional work includes somatostatin analogue management in neuroendocrine tumours, broadening the oncology portfolio across thoracic and digestive cancers.

Neuro-Oncology and Pediatric Neurologic Disease

Clinical research includes glioblastoma, high-grade glioma, and diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, with attention to adjuvant immune-based strategies in both adult and pediatric settings. The sponsor also supports studies in multiple sclerosis and progressive multiple sclerosis, including tolerogenic cell therapies aimed at immune modulation.

  • Glioblastoma and high-grade glioma
  • Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma
  • Multiple sclerosis and progressive multiple sclerosis

This area combines neuro-oncology with neuroimmunology, including investigational approaches based on myelin-directed and tumor-directed cellular therapies.

Inflammatory, Infectious, and Critical Care Conditions

Research extends to acute myocarditis, chronic hepatitis B infection, and care optimization for critically ill patients. These studies address immune-mediated cardiac disease, viral persistence, and fluid management in intensive care.

  • Acute myocarditis
  • Chronic hepatitis B infection
  • Critical care fluid management

The sponsor also includes work on pediatric sedation and related procedural care, adding a service-oriented clinical research component.

Additional studies cover infertility in women with tubal patency assessment, pediatric cataract surgery support, and growth-related treatment in children with short predicted height. These areas reflect interest in reproductive medicine, pediatric ophthalmology, and endocrine growth disorders.

  • Infertility and tubal evaluation
  • Pediatric cataract
  • Short predicted height

These projects broaden the sponsor’s clinical research activity beyond oncology and neurology into specialized women’s health, pediatric eye care, and growth medicine.
