Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Neoplasia

Research activity is centered on acute myeloid leukemia across newly diagnosed, relapsed, refractory, and molecularly relapsing disease, with parallel interest in myelodysplastic syndrome and myelodysplastic neoplasia. The portfolio includes treatment strategies for patients eligible for intensive therapy as well as those requiring less intensive approaches.

  • Allogeneic stem cell transplantation
  • MRD-guided therapy
  • FLT3 and IDH1-mutated disease
  • Salvage treatment

Key interests include post-transplant management, relapse prevention, and targeted treatment selection in genetically defined AML and MDS.

Hematologic Malignancies

The sponsor also funds studies in other blood cancers, including multiple myeloma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. These trials address patients with relapsed or refractory disease and explore treatment options in malignancies with limited curative potential.

  • B-cell malignancies
  • Relapsed disease
  • Immunotherapy combinations
  • CAR-T cell therapy

This area reflects a strong focus on advanced hematologic cancer management, including immune-based and cellular treatment approaches.

Thoracic and Gastrointestinal Oncology

Clinical research extends to solid tumors, particularly large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung and colon cancer in stage II disease. The trial portfolio includes both advanced thoracic malignancy and postoperative risk-adapted treatment in colorectal cancer.

  • Non-small cell lung cancer variants
  • Neuroendocrine carcinoma
  • ctDNA-guided adjuvant treatment
  • Stage II colorectal cancer

There is also interest in periampullary carcinoma and surgical complications linked to pancreatic procedures, broadening the sponsor’s oncology scope beyond hematology.

Transplantation and Cellular Therapy

Several studies focus on hematopoietic cell transplantation, including conditioning strategies, graft-versus-host disease prevention, and maintenance treatment after transplant. The sponsor also supports work in autologous islet transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy.

  • Graft-versus-host disease prophylaxis
  • Post-transplant maintenance
  • Autologous cellular transplantation
  • Engineered T-cell therapies

These areas show sustained involvement in transplant-linked oncology and advanced cell-based treatment platforms.

Dermatologic Oncology

Additional research activity includes actinic cheilitis, a precancerous condition of the lip associated with chronic sun damage. This work adds a dermatologic component to the sponsor’s broader cancer portfolio.

  • Premalignant skin lesions
  • Topical therapy
  • Oral and lip lesions

The inclusion of this area indicates interest in early intervention for cutaneous oncology and related mucosal disease.
