Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Research activity in acute myeloid leukemia centers on newly diagnosed adults with limited fitness for intensive treatment, including older patients and those with IDH1 mutation. The portfolio includes interest in venetoclax-based combinations, azacitidine, low-dose cytarabine, quizartinib, and ivosidenib, with attention to remission depth and survival outcomes.

  • Venetoclax-based regimens
  • Azacitidine and low-dose cytarabine
  • FLT3-targeted and IDH1-targeted therapy

The sponsor’s leukemia studies also include treatment approaches for patients who are not candidates for standard induction chemotherapy.

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma

In CLL and SLL, the clinical research focus is on previously untreated disease and the use of targeted therapy combinations aimed at deep responses, including minimal residual disease negativity and complete remission.

  • Zanubrutinib
  • Obinutuzumab
  • Undetectable minimal residual disease

These studies reflect sustained interest in antibody-based and kinase-targeted treatment strategies for first-line CLL/SLL.

Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma

The largest area of activity is newly diagnosed multiple myeloma, including transplant-ineligible and transplant-eligible populations, as well as older adults in good general health. Research spans induction, intensification, and post-transplant settings with emphasis on complete response, MRD-negative status, and overall response rate.

  • Carfilzomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone
  • Daratumumab, isatuximab, and iberdomide
  • Autologous stem cell transplantation

Additional studies explore belantamab mafodotin, teclistamab, talquetamab, and ciltacabtagene autoleucel in frontline myeloma care.

High-Risk Smoldering Multiple Myeloma

Research in high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma focuses on preventing progression to symptomatic disease through early intervention strategies. The sponsor supports studies evaluating combination regimens that incorporate proteasome inhibitors, anti-CD38 antibodies, and cellular therapy.

  • Early treatment approaches
  • MRD-guided response assessment
  • Transplant-based strategies

This area includes interest in daratumumab-based combinations and ciltacabtagene autoleucel for patients at increased risk of disease evolution.

Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

In relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, the research portfolio examines newer immune-based and targeted treatments for patients previously exposed to multiple drug classes. The studies focus on clinical activity, response quality, and disease control in heavily pretreated disease.

  • Elranatamab
  • Belantamab mafodotin
  • Bispecific T-cell redirectors

These trials extend the sponsor’s interest in antibody-drug conjugates and T-cell–engaging therapies for advanced myeloma.
