EU-X-CT is a volunteer-driven initiative comprising over 100 members from 32 European countries and the United States. This diverse membership includes patients, patient advocates, patient organizations, academia, research networks, and industry stakeholders. Their collective goal is to provide reliable and accessible information concerning the legal, regulatory, ethical, financial, and practical aspects of cross-border participation in clinical trials. The initiative was specifically established to enable patients to access clinical trials in other countries when no suitable options are available in their own.
