The aHUS-Selbsthilfe Foundation is an association that supports patients with atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), as well as membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN), C3-glomerulopathy (C3G), or Dense-Deposit-Disease (DDD). They focus on the exchange of experiences and mutual support. The foundation’s assistance includes creating a network of contacts with doctors and researchers, and organizing informational meetings and webinars. They also advocate for patients’ rights, representing their interests to authorities, health insurance funds, and in politics.
